2011 FUTURITY TALL TREES
At the Tall Trees BEF Futurity three Elite Premiums were attained; with two going to progeny of the showjumping stallion Condor.
Condors Touch And Go was the top scoring lot of the day for Roy Haggerty and Mike Pugh. She scored an Elite Premium of 9.05 in the showjumping section and is a filly foal by Roy’s AES licensed stallion, Condor, who is just four years old. Touch And Go is out of the Ramexico mare Pencader Springwood.
Evaluator Mark Shaw said: “She is a scopey, modern type and is elastic and engaged in all paces.”
The Condor-sired Pencarder Condors Boy received an Elite Premium of 9.00 also in the showjumping section. This yearling gelding is also owned by Roy Haggerty and Mike Pugh. He is out of SHB mare Pencarder Pearl, by Pascal. His ground-covering stride and suppleness were commented on by the evaluators.
Condor also sired two foals that received Higher First premiums, Condor’s Wait And See and Condors Cry For The Moon.
2013 FUTURITY HARTPURY
Filly foal Noble Town Ysera gained the showjumping elite of the day (9.12) for owner, Jane-Elizabeth Noble and breeder, High Hopes Stud. She is by Condor, out of a Golden Wonder mare. The evaluators paraised her “good acceleration in her canter,” adding: “She is powerful and athletic and uses her body well”.
